Directions for Applying:
Artists may submit only one design. Collaborative proposals are
eligible. Artists should keep in mind that the audience for the
Frogs is broad and made up of all ages. Designs should be appropriate
for public display. Advertising is not allowed.
Please submit your proposed frog design on one of the outlines provided.
Do not send designs larger than 8.5X11”. The more finished your
design is, the easier it will be for the panel to review your submission.
Artists may submit a brief artist statement about the concept of
their design. Artist statements are limited to one paragraph.
Artists should indicate on the above application whether or
not they are available to share their process with the public during
the production of their frog.
Send five (5)
copies each of the following:
- Completed
application form (above),
- Artist statement
(optional) and
- Completed
frog design and submit by January 1, 2005 on frog outline provided
to:
